Last November, I switched away from using Yoast, and a lot of you have been asking me about why I did that.
The answer is simple, I wanted more powerful features and unfortunately the WordPress SEO space had gotten stagnant.
So in 2020, I decided to fix the problem for me and for all of you :)
I acquired the famous All in One SEO plugin and partnered with, Benjamin Rojas, a super talented developer to lead the project.
But just because I owned the company, doesn't mean I would automatically use the plugin on WPBeginner. Ben and team really had to prove it to me that it was truly the best.
They worked hard and launched a revamped version in November 2020, but I just wasn't fully convinced.
So they worked hard for another year after that adding even more powerful SEO features to a point where I simply couldn't resist.
Here are the 9 reasons why I switched from Yoast to AIOSEO.
